In the summer of 2021, I took a two-week film course at the Met Film School in London, to help me expand my knowledge of the film industry and network with other cinematographers and film crew members.
I've worked on a variety of modest projects from narrative films to documentaries and I have recently begun producing some commercial videos for small businesses.
I've worked in several roles, including DOP, Editor, lighting tech and Director. In my productions, I have employed a variety of equipment, including DSLRs, drones, Gimbles, Hi8 cameras and lighting.

Education and experiences
Now in 2024, I am studying at the University of West England in Bristol. I am continuing to study filmmaking in order to gain a more apprehensive and in-depth knowledge about not only creating films but also documentaries and advertisements.

Throughout 2020 and 2021 I was at college getting my Extended Diploma in Film and TV production at Henley College. This has allowed me to gain more vocational skills and appreciation of the art, which I don’t believe taking A levels could have provided.

During the summer of 2021, I attended a two-week beginner’s film course at the Met Film School, to get a basic understanding of how to create short films. Here, I learned about the art of storytelling, how to use a camera to tell a story and on set collaboration.
Since studying film, I have completed voluntary work for a local DJ, who asked for help to make a promotional video for their business. Since then, I have had more requests for my work. which has boosted my confidence and reinforced that I am taking the right path.

In August 2021 I got my first opportunity to work as an AC and runner on a corporate video film set in Oxford. This was an amazing experience. I learned what it’s like working on a professional film, and how DOP’s and directors face problems with lighting and actors. This opened my eyes to the variety of types of films that people can make.
